Spinalonga Island

From there we take our boat to Spinalonga, the main attraction of the day which was originally a Venetian fortress and until 1953 the last leper colony of Europe. During walking through the monuments of the island we will hear from our professional guide the fascinating history of the place. After guiding on the island the boat will take us to an isolated marvelous beach on another island nearby where we have the chance to relax, swim and enjoy BBQ prepared by the captain and the crew of the boat. Our last stop will be the romantic town of Agios Nikolaos, maybe the most beautiful on Crete, where you can enjoy a walk or coffee by the beach road, the port and the lake.
